LATEST OPERATIONS (Rec. 11.10) LONDON, Oct. 6. The Vichy Government admits that British forces captured Antsipabe, and also the railway between’Tamatave and Antananarivo. According to the Vichy News Agency. R.A.F. planes attacked a car in which Mr Annet, Governor of M'adagarcar, was inspecting defence works south of Antsirabe. Mr Annet and accompanying Ministers were not hurt. ' Fighting is proceeding on tne Sambaina planes, where the British are suffering heavy losses, according to Vichy sources. ’
