The “Daily Mail’s” corresnonednt with the Eighth Army says:— “Sauadrons of Messerschmitts have natrolled the El Alamein front during the last few days. They have made an endeavour to hide Axis Soon movements, but their attempt failed. Our airmen fought their way through the enemy squadrons and made reconnaissances wherever they wished The Italians and Germans have been energetically reorganising their front line. . “Axis troop-carryier planes are regularly ferrying fresh infantry fom Greece and Crete.
