RAID LAE AND RABAUL. (Rec. midnight) CANBERRA, May 6. A communique issued by General MacArthur states that Allied bomb' ers again raided Rabaul and Lae, on Tuesday. They scored hits on enemy bombers on the ground in Lae. Hits were also scored on the target aiea in Rabaul. NEW AUSTRALIAN AIR CHIEF. (Rec. Midnight). CANBERRA. Mav 6.
