EIGHT MEN RESCUED. 8.0.W. RUGBY, April 26. Eight of the' seventeen miners, who on Friday night, were trapped by a heavy fall of the roof at Barnborough main colliery were rescued alive and well this afterneed, after be; ng entombed for forty-three hours. Hopes were entertained tonight that four other menxwhose tappings have been heard, will also be got out safely. The exact whereabouts of the remaining five is not known, but it is thought they will be not far away from where the latest tappings have been heard. (Rec. 1.4). LONDON, April 27. Five more miners at Barnborough Colliery have been rescued alive, after being fifty-five hours entombed. Another was found dead. Rescue operations are continuing for tne remaining three men.
