LUXEMBURG’S FATE

INCORPORATION IN REICH. (Rec. 5.5). LONDON, April 26. Luxemburg Is already de facto incorporated in the Reich, according to a refugee who escaped across the German frontier. A plebiscite last January to decide the destiny of Luxemburg resulted: Fifty per cent, for reattachment, to France, fortyfive per cent, for maintenance of the Grand Duchy, none for reattachment to Germany, live per cent, invalid. Immediately the result was known, Gauleiter Simon was given plenary powers to ■ transfer a substantial proportion of the population to Poland and Pomerania.
