SUPPORT FOR N.Z.
MR. NASH’S APPEAL TO U.S.A.
NEW YORK, March 17.
“New Zealanders are of one mind about the war,” declared Mr. Nash, in a speech to the League for Industrial Democracy. He appealed for support from tli e United States and other democratic countries. He warned that a hard fight is ahead in the Pacific and said: “For us to lose would be an indictment of humanity, and a step back for a century. We will not have many men left if we lose the fight, and we will lose unless we get a change of opinion in the United States and other countries, that feel we cannot help but win.”
