JAPANESE EMBASSY
For Vatican City LONDON, March 17. A message from Zurich quotes a Rome report that the Vatican has decided to accept a Japanese representative. The Rome radio declared earlier that the Japanese pourparlers, regarding Japanese diplomatic representation at the Vatican, had reached the decisive stage. The former Japanese Foreign Minister, Mr Matsuoka, who is a Catholic, is a probable candidate.
