Japanese aircraft carried out raids to-day on Tul'agi and Florida in tho Solomon Islands, say? a communique There were two raids on the former island., first by three enemv living boats in the early morning, when 18 bombs were dropped from a thousand feet, resulting in three natives being killed and some property being damagedThe second raid on Tulagi was made by fourteen flying boats and five heavy bombers. High explosives fell in the sea and on thetown, but no casualties or damage was reported..
