GERMAN SHIP
INTERNED IN URUGUAY. (Rec. 1.12.) MONTEVIDEO, Mar. 17. The Uruguayan Gpvernment seized and interned the German ship “Tacoma,” 8,200 tons, in reprisal for the torpedoing of the merchantman “Uruguay,” off Haiti. The “Tacoma” was a supply-ship for the German battleship “Graf Spee”, which was scuttled after the battle of the River Plate.
