NEWSPRINT CUT
EFFECT ON LONDON PAPERS.
(Rec. 1.21.;) LONDON, March 16. The ten per cent, cut in newsprint operative from to-day, resulted in the non-appearance of the early sporting editions of the evening papers. The morning papers told their readers that one in ten was now without a paper, and the lucky ones are therefore urged to share or lend their copies and to co-operate with news agents in securing the fairest distribution.
