LONDON. March 15

Ai cablegram from Chungking announced that Major-General Lancelot Dennys, head of the British Military Mission, was killed in a plane crash. He wa's one of several passengers, including United States Army officers, who lost their lives' when the aeroplane crashed a few miles from the Kunming airport, shortly after taking off from Chungking. He spent most of his military life in India. He had achieved a distinguished reputation during his stay in Chungking, .and his work had been highly appreciated on every side(Rec. 8.25).
