INVASION OF AMERICA
JAP PLANS DISCOVERED. (Rec. 9.50). WASHINGTON, Feb. 23. Dies Committee agents are reported to have seized elaborately detailed maps drawn by Japanese spies to guide an invasion force through Alaska and North-western Canada. The maps were taken from a Japanese agent after the United States entry into the war. : Representative Dies said he interpreted the discovery of the maps as positive evidence that Japan will try to invade the United States, if she is successful in driving tl|; United Nations from the South-west Pacific. He added that his Committee willmake a public report next week on Japanese activities throughout the country.
