MR FRASER’S TOUR

VISITS TO COVENTRY AND BIRMINGHAM.

LONDON, July 24. Rt. Hon'. F. Fraser -toured the bombed areas at Coventry last night. The gave him a civic reception to-day. Later Mr Frasier toured an aerodrome where New Zealanders are training. After inspecting them, he chatted informally for nearly an hour. He specially chatted with B. D. Veitch, whose grandfather is an ex-Member of Parliament, and Sergeant Pilot J. M. Sellers, whom he knew in New Zealand. Sellers, a former radio announcer, came to England two year;; before the war, and became a reporter on “The Times.” He joined the R.A.F. last September, and at present is an | R.A.F. instructor. : Mr Fraser then visited an aircraft j 'factory, after which he remarked: “I | believe the workers there really believe they are on the battleground, i They appreciate the fact that they are taking part in the battle.” 1 Mr Fraser also toured the blitzed districts of Birmingham and visited Hon.
