WOMAN’S DEATH

UNDER ANAESTHETIC P.A. AUCKLAND, July 21. While under an anaesthetic, Q widow, Mrs Lucy Mary Pryor, ageu 77 years, collapsed and died. Mrs Pryor was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, on July 13, suffering from a broken hip, sustained when she fell from a couch. On Saturday an anaesthetic was being; administered for the purpose of performing; an operation on the fractured bone when the patient collapsed and died.
