GOERING’S ECLIPSE
MOSCOW RADIO ACCOUNT. (Rec. 1.10). LONDON, Julv 18., The Moscow Radio says: Only Hitler’s intervention prevented Herr Himmler (Head of the Gestapo) from using incriminating material against Marshal Goering. The announcer quoting what he termed well-inform-ed sources, added: Hitler was forced to act in order to avoid an open split in the Nazi Party. The Gestapo is closely watching Marshal Goering’s close associates, Paul Koerner and Kleiger, General Manager of Hermann Goering Industries. Marshal Goering himself is under house arrest. His removal from active leadership has greatly dissatisfied leading industrialists and financiers.
