REEFTON, May 20

Miss G. Helper,, of the Goldberg Advertising Agency, is on a visit to Reefton, and is the guest of her cousin, Mrs H. H. Poulton Mr J. Kennedy. ,of Darfie’d, is on a visit to his brother, Mr E. Kennedy, Manager of Mr G. Dick’s Reefton farm.

Mrs E. Padley, of Palmerston North, is on a visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs C. H. Cleaver, Reefton.

The death took place at the Hospital yesterday of Donal Bruce, only son of Mr and Mrs M. Gordon, of Totara Flat. The boy, who had been in delicate health for some time past, was ten years of age. The interment will take place In Christchurch. The weather jhas taken a decided wintry turn, and snow covers the ranges. There was a fall at Manila on Sunday. Yesterday there was a big fall at Big River. This morning was very cold indeed, but rain had ceased.
