RUNANGA NOTES

[Our Own correspondent] There was a good attendance ol members on Friday night when the Co-operative Women’s Guild held their fortnightly meeting. Impromptu speeches rendered by several of the members were thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed by everyone. After supper, community singing and dancing were indulged in, the music being supplied by Mrs J. Reynolds. A very pleasant evening concluded with tire singing of Auld Lang Syne. Mrs R. Morris, who has been visiting Runanga, has returned to Wellington. Mrs R. Haglund, who has been visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs S. Finch, left on return to Laurence yesterday morning. Mrs T. Gallon, who has been visiting Wellington, returned to Runanga yesterday.
