LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS

[ AN OTAGO OBJECTION. DUNEDIN, February 10. Manning (chairman of the finance committee), and J. E. Jones (chairman of the housing anil town planning committee). I If it becomes clear by ballot night i that Mr. Macfarlane will be going overseas, most support will probably Ibe given to Mr. Parlane, judging bj the activity in some Labour circles.
