FORMAL INQUESTS
Blenheim R.A.F. Victims BLENHEIM. February 5. The inquest into the two air crashes on January 21, in which four trainees of the Woodbourne flying training school were killed followed strictly formal lines. The victims of the accidents were Leading Aircraftmen A. V. M. Gilmour, aged 22, Epsom. Auckland: G. W. Suisted, 23, Wellington; and R. A. Llewellyn. 21, Ruawai Auckland. They were pilots and co-pilots of Vickers Vincent bombers, which crashed in the hills between Blenheim and S'eddon within three-quarters of an hour, about a half mile from each other, in thickweather. Evidence was tendered. The Coroner I'mited the testimony to Doctor 11. H. North, medical officer. Woodbourne. who described the injuries o! Ihe victims, and expressed the opinion that the deaths were instantaneous. The Coroner returned a verdict in accordance with the medical evidence.
