MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. Mr J' Stokes (Chairman), presided over‘a' meeting of the Management Committee of the West Coast. Crick- ( ct /ssociation on Tuesday evening, when there were also present.: Messrs i j. Guy, H. Westwood, J. Mathews, ETaylor, E. Newton, O. Morris, and L. C. Lindley (secretary). The match between West Coast, and Ashburton at Ashburton on February 14 and 15 for the Minor Associations’ trophy held by West Coast, was approved in a letter from the Canterbury Cricket Association. The Nelson Association wrote regretting its inability to send a team last week-end, as arranged, but statin? that it hoped to fulfill its obligations later in the season. If was decided to suggest to the Nelson Association that they send a’ team early in March. Te Hone Hoke Club (Buller), wrote asking the Association io arrange a match at Greymouth on March 1, and a match against Runanga', at. Runanga on March 2. It was decided to hold the let; er over until the next meeting of the Association. The Brunner Club wrote staling that the Marist Old Boys’ Juniors, in their match against Brunner Juniors on Saturday last, played D. Knapp (Cobden senior, and a senior representative, and H. de Freatus, also a Cobden senior).

If was decided to write the Club, asking for an explanation. The West Coast team to play Ashburton was submitted by the selector, and approved. Mr. W. Rapley was appointed Captain, and Mr. J. Mathews manager. It was resolved that the team leave Greymouth at 4.30 p.m. on February 13.

It was decided to write to Mr. I. B. Cromb, thanking him for bringing a team to play Greymouth last month. Senior fixtures drawn for Sunday next are as follows: —Cobden v. United, Rec. No. 1; Marist A v. Marist B, Rec. No. 2; Camerons v. Runanga at Camerons.

Mr. W. Rapley has chosen the following West Coast team to play Ashburton: —H. Westwood L. Lindley, E. Taylor, R. Scott, B. Marshall, W. Rapley (United), D. Dewar, D. Knapp (Cobden), O. Morris, N. Bayley, M. Marshall (Marist). Twelfth man, A- Vaughan. Yesterday morning the West Coast Association received an invitation from the South Canterbury Association inviting the West Coast team to play at Timaru, after the Ashburton match.
