The following New Zealand ail casualty is announced: Sergeant Jack Middleton Garrett, R.N.Z.A.I Previously reported missing, and now reported a prisoner of war and wounded. His father i s Mr E. M. WELLINGTON, January lx The following further casua.ttes are announced: — Sergeant David Garrick Branscombe Protheroe, N.Z.A.F. —Previously reported missing now reported a prisoner of war. His father is Mr J. B. Protheroe, of Tonga. A.C. 2. P. J. Trainer. R.A.F.. who was admitted to nospnai m England suffering from a perforated ulcer, and was previously reported as having been placed on the. dangerously ill list, is now reported as removed from the dangerously ili' list, and placed on the seriously ill Hst. His father is Mr C. M. Trainer, of Benheim.

R.A.F. MAN KILLED. WELLINGTON, January 14. Cabled advice ha's been received by Mr. H. H. A. Renai, of Khandallah, of the death of his son, Sergeant Observer Paul Victor Renai, Royal Air Force, who was killed instantly, together with the rest of the crew, when his aeroplane crashed last week.
