NUMEROUS PROMOTIONS. ANNOUNCED IN BRITAIN. (From Official War Correspondent N.Z.E.F. in Britain). LONDON, December 30The following former non-commis-sioned officers of the N.Z.E.F. in Britain have been passed out of the Officers’ Cadet Training Unit at Sandhurst, where they, trained with the Brigade of’Guards Company: —Commissioned Second-Lieuts. E. J. Waters, R. C. B. Finlayson, H. G. Rose, all of the Auckland Battalion; J. W Craig J'. D. Ormond, W. A. Whitlock, all of the Wellington Battalion; A. W. Moodie, V. C. Phillips, J. S. Harper. C. T. Mason and E. A. Shand, all of the South Island Battalion; F. R. Logan, J. Tuhiwai, M. R. Pene and PH. Toka, all of the Maori Battalion; H. S. Sandford, Fifth Brigade Headquarters; D. L. Morgan, Reinforcement Battalion; K. A. V. Cross, Fourth Anti-Tank Infantry Coy.; C W. Trafford and J. R. Mackenzie, both of the Divisional Cavalry. ‘ The following former non-commis-sioned officers of the Eleventh Forestry Coy., have recently been commissioned as Second Lieutenants direct from their unit: —T. G. Quilter, I. C. Tuck, J. D. Coogan G. A. D. Porter, L. J. McKenzie, W. L. Cook, i Lieuts. Quilter and Tuck have been transferred for service with 1 English Forestry Coys. So also has the former Second-Lieut. A. Greer, of the Eleventh Forestry Coy., who, on transfer, was promoted to be Captain
