GREY GUN CLUB

The annual general meeting of the Club was held on Tuesday evening at the Imperial Hotel, with a good attendance of members. The annual report and balance sheet were read and confirmed.

It was decided to place on record the Club’s gratitude to its generous supporters, who had been of such great assistance during the year by their liberal donations of trophies and prizes for competition. A vote of thanks was passed to the outgoing officers.

Mr. R. J. Smith was elected President and Handicapper. Rev. Father Kelly was elected Hon. Secretary and Referee.

The following committee were elected: — Rev. Father Holohan, Messrs E. A. Brown, J. J. Howat, G. Hill, and T. Heineger.

It was decided to make early preparations for the West Coast Championship, which is to be shot in Greymouth in January. Club members were requested to support the Kokatahi Club by being present at its shoot on New Year’s Day.
