ANNUAL MEETING At the sixth annual meeting of shareholders in Maori Gold Limited, held .on Monday evening in the Lyceum Hall, Mr J. M. Bunt presided over an attendance of approximately 15 shareholders. The annual report' and balance sheet were receivevd and' adopted. Mr A. A. Shannon was re-elected tu t.h e directorate, and Mr Charles Watson was elected in place of Mr H. A. Martin, of Christchurch, who did not seek re-election. Mr E. Souter, A.P.A., N.Z., A.1.A., N.Z., was re-appointed auditor. The company’s dredgemaster, Mr D. Caithness, replied to questions regarding the strength of the dredge and its suitability for dredging the ground, and stated that it was hopea to have the manganese buckets fitted with new lips and dredging operation; recommenced towards the end o! January. . , Votes of appreciation were passed to the dredgemaster and staff "and to the directors. At a subsequent meeting of directors, Mr J. M. Bunt was re-elected cnairman.
