[Per Press Association] WELLINGTON, December 12 Th e weather report and forecast are as follows:— General situation: An extensive anti-cyclone still lies across the Nori ll Island, while depressions of a westerly type continue to pass to thu south of th e South Island. Forecast: Winds west to north-west predominating, -but temporary changes Io south-west in the southern half of the South Island.; force moderate m the Auckland Province, but strong at times in most other districts. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rough at times south of Cape Egmont, and Dunedin, an about Cook Strait; otherwise slight or moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Northern portion, light to variable winds and slight seas; southern portion, moderate to strong westerly winds and rather rough seas. Weather: Continuing fine and warm east of th e ranges from Otago northwards’ elsewhere mainly fair and mild, but further occasional rain in Westland and about Foveaux Strait.
