RUNANGA NOTES

[Our Own Correspondent! On the occasion of the Runanga School sports and parents’ day at the school, there was a large attendance on Tuesday. The display of school and hand work in the various rooms was much admired by the parents, the standard being high. After the sports the children were supplied with refreshments consisting of soft drinks, ice-creams, peanuts and lollies. Prizes were donated by Mrs RJ. Armstrong, Mrs E. Kennedy, and Mr J. Martin. Valuable assistance was given by Mr A. Farquah, Mr W. H. Southward and Mr W. Rankin. The results of the sports were as follows: —
