SANCTIONS ON BRITAIN?
ARGENTINE SHIP’S PASSENGERS REMOVED (Received December 5, 9 p.m.) RIO DE JANIERO, December 4. Senor Afranio Mello Franco, the President of the Inter-American Neutrality Committee, said that sanctions again Britain might be taken if the Committee were given the Itape case to study. A British auxiliary cruiser halted the Brazilian coaster Itape on Sunday last, and removed from her twenty-two German passengers, some of whom were allegedly from Tacoma.
