On Norwegian Coast SHIPS BOMBED AND HIT. [British Official Wireless] RUGBY, December 2. Last night, the coastal command aircraft attacked shipping off the Norwegian coast. One ship sustained a direct hit. A large explosion and fire followed the bombing of wharve s on Afje Island. Yesterday, a direct hit was scored on the stern of an enemy supply ship off the Norwegian coast. The aircraft bomber command last night attacked the submarine base of Lorient.
