An Air Ministry and Ministry of Home Security communique, issued at 915 p.m. states: It is now known that, during Sunday night, three enemv aircraft m all were destroyed BERLIN, September A communique states: The enemy lost a total' of 22 plan es on Sunday Four of: ours are missing. 52 ENEMY PLANES. DESTROYED ON SUNDAY. (Received Sept. 11, 12.30 a.m.) LONDON, September 10- ' It is now confirmed that 52 enemy planes were destroyed in Sunday’s raids, 49 by fighters, and thre e by anti-aircraft guns. Three of the British pilots previously reported missing are now Known safe. MONDAY LOSSES. LONDON, September 9. Preliminary reports of Monday evening’s raid show that 26 enemy aircraft were destroyed, 24 by fighters and two by anti-aircraft fire. Thirteen British fighters are missing, but three of the pilots ar e sale. Reports received at 10 p.m. show that 47 aircraft wer P shot down in to-day’s engagements, 45 'by fighters and two by anti-aircraft guns Thirteen of our fighters ar e m’ssing, but three pilots are safe. SATURDAY LOSSES. LONDON, September 9 Fuller reports show that in Saturday’s action 28 enemy aircraft in all were destroyed by anti-aircraft gunfire, and 75 by fighters, making a total of 103 destroyed that uay. POLES BAG 31 ENEMY PLANES (Received September 10, 7 30 p.m.) LONDON, September 9. The Polish Fighter Squadron shot down thirty-one planes in the air battles on Friday, Saturday and Sunday last. Sir A. Sinclair (Air Minister) has sent a message of congratulations for the Poles to General Sikorski. ANOTHER POLE’S FEAT. TWO PLANES DOWNED SINGLEHANDED. (Received Sept. 10, 8.15 p.m.) LONDON, September 10. During th G German raid on London between five and six o’clock on Monday evening, a Polish SergeantPilot shot down a Heinkel and a Messerschmitt single-handed.
