REEFTON NOTES

[Our Own Correspondent] REEFTON, September 9. Mrs Sara, who is in Christchurch Hospital, is making a good recovery from her recent operation. Mrs F. Rollerson is reported as having improved considerably in the same institution. Mr A. A. Blunden, of the Consolidated Gold Fields Oilice staff, who has enlisted in the artillery and goes to Papakura Camp, left Reefion on Saturday morning by train. H e , was accompanied by Mrs Blunden. The Inangahua Silver Band liad a couple of hours' quickstep practice in the school grounds on Sunday atternoon. This was in view of the quickstep competition at th© Band Contest at Greymouth next, month.
