BAN ON IMMODESTY

AND IMMORAL PUBLICITY.

RADICAL CHANGE IN FRANCE

The “Daily Mail’s” correspondent on the Franco-Spanish frontier reports:—French police havle banned sunbathing and the wearing of twopiece bathing suits, which ar e declared to be immodest for women. All “undress” shows such as the Follies Bergeres and the Baltabarin have been completely banned. All films henceforth must be censored, not only for undress, but for the treatment of their theme.

Newspapers are also to bo subject to a censorship for immorality and for publicity given to crime, which is to be banned from th, e newspapers.
