“BLACKED OUT"

OTTAWA, August 3.

The Leader of the Conservative Party in the Canadian Senate, Senator Arthur Meighan. (Former Prime Minister), alleged that the Government’s control of propaganda had resulted in Canada being “blacked out, not knowing the conditions.” He saio that the failure to table the regulations made under the National Mobilisation Act before the prorogation of parliament, “is autocracy unparallelled in the history of any democratic country.”
