Miss B. Moore, Taylorville, left on Wednesday to join the nursing staff oi the Hokitika Mental Hospital.
Miss J. Gutberlet will return on Saturday after a few weeks’ visit to relatives at Chesterfield. Mrs J. Pender left on Wednesday evening on a visit to her daughter at Oxford. Miss E. McDonald was the winner at the W.I. weekly euchre tournament held at Taylorville School. The proceeds of the Red Cross Ball held in Stillwater Hall recently were £2O 6s sd.
