N.Z.E.F. Volunteers WELLINGTON, July 31. Final returns of voluntary enlistment over the whole Dominion for services with the second N.Z.E.F., show a total to July 22, when the voluntary .system ended, of 60,812. Of those who had been before the medical board up to that date, 39,936 were passed fit, and 9,277 declared permanently unfit. At the end of last week, there were 5,328 awfiiting medical examination. Important occupation held back 3,037; 24,494 have been sent to camp, and 10,238 are awaiting despatch to .camp. Two further enlistments, posted before July 22, at Okuru, South Westland, have raised the effective total of enlistments in the Second Expeditionary Force at Greymouth to 1.099.
