In the near future, it - hoped to have a long-felt want fulfilled. , .. .xThe half-yearly general meeting othe Brunner Miners’ Sick Fund and O P Fund was held in Dixon’s Rooms, Wailsend on Saturday evening. Mr Wm. Purdy presided over a fair attendance of members. The balancesheets of sick fund and O.P. fund and auditor’s reports were presented, showing the funds to be in a good position, and were accepted as very satisfactory. The following committee were elected for the current term: Messrs S. Robb, W. Lee, S. Bel’, J Burns, W. Gutberlet, Jas. Richaicison, R. Hacker, A. Gutberlet, M. Millar and H. Keenan, Secretary).
