GROUFSKY—CURTAIN

A quiet wedding took place recently at St. Patrick’s Church, Greymouth the contracting parties being Maria ’Monica, eldest daughter ol Mr and Mrs Joe Curtain, Wataroa, South

Westland, and Vincent John, eldest son of Mr and Mrs O. Groufsky, of Hokitika. R.ev. Father J. Holohan officiated. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a model frock of teal blue roumain, with astrachan trimmings, her hat and accessories being of the same smart tonings. She carried a bouquet of spring Howers and maidenhair fern. Miss Kay McKay,, of Hanmer, attended as bridesmaid, wearing a smart ensemble of clover, with accessories to tone, and carried a bouquet of spring flowers. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr B. Groufsky. Following the ceremony, the partj was entertained at Karoro; at the residence of Mr and Mrs C. Douglas, cousins of the bride. The happy couple left later for Nelson, Blenheim and the East Coast.
