BAN WANTED
“JUDGE” RUTHERFORD’S SECT SYDNEY DEMONSTRATION. (Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.l (Received July 27, 1.27 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 26 During the shopping hour in the city to-night, a large body of “Jehovah’s witnesses” (“Judge Rutherford’s sect) demonstrated with sand-wich-boards. The boards were carried by women, they being attended by men, who protected them from molestation. The police arrested about one hundred. The New South Wales Stat e Government has now asked the Federal Government to ban this organisation.
