NEW TRADE AGREEMENT. CREDITS FOR DEBTS. (Received March 20, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 20. Under the new British-Spanish trade agreement Spain undertakes not to allow re-export of certain imports. Thus the agreement results in stopping a leak in the Allied blockade. In Parliament Sir A. Duncan announced the agreement provides for Spain accepting £7,000,000 from Britain to purchase goods in Britain, and for Britain also to advance another £2,000,000 in a reserve fund under the 1936 Payments Agreement, in order to enable Spain to pay an immediate dividend of 50 per cent on outstanding debts.

DELVAYO LEAVING MEXICO. (Received March 20, 7.50 p.m.) PARIS, March 19. 1 Tt is officially stated that the former Spanish Government’s Foreign Minister, Senor Del'vayo, is voluntarily returning to France from Mexico. He is to face a Court which sentenced him to three months ’imprisonment, on February 20, for entering, France without a permit, after the civil war.
