CANTERBURY QUOTA. CHRISTCHURCH, March 13. Enlistments are still urgently required in the Canterbury area. A furthere 201 has been added to the Area 10 (Canterbury) quota, making the aucta number to be filled 858. With 212 men in hand, 646 are now required to complete the .quota for the 3rd Echelon, which means that the best part of 1300 enlistments are needed. It is estimated, that on the present rate of recruiting about 80 enlistments are received each week, of which 30 are finally accepted and available for service, so that unless the rate is speeded up it will be some months before the quota is filled. Four medical board' sittings will.be held again this morning, at which about 60 recruits will be examined. The last medical board sitting before Easter will be held to-day week. Twelve enlistments were received yesterday.
