ARE 'FRISCO CLERKS WINNING ? [Aust. & N.Z.? Cable Assn,] (Received January. 4, 9.10 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, January 3. The ship clerks here returned to work at one p.m. to-day, although no working agreement has yet been reached with their employers. The parties are still ..negotiating, and are under an agreement to submit the dispute to arbitration if they are unhide to agree within ten days. The Chamber of Commerce estimates that the strike has cost the community one hundred million dollars.
