RIFLE SHOOTING

GREY LADIES' CLUB. The Grey Ladies’ Miniature Rifle Club held their final shoots last evening, for the Maple Leaf and; Nestles’ Trophies. Miss R. Woollett won the Maple Leaf Trophy, while the competition for Nestles' Trophy resulted in a tie, and will be decided next week. Mrs W. Park won the Hotty Button, with a score of 68. Following were the scores: —

. RUNANGA CLUB. At the weekly shoot of the Runanga Men’s Miniature Rifle Club K. McDonald, with 67 off the rifle, won the Hotty Button and D. McDonald in the shoot-off won the trophy. It was decided that Mr C. Buckman’s Cup be allotted to the Hotty Button championship for yearly competition, a miniature cup each year to go to the winner. Scores: —
