MRS C. STEWART, M.P.
FORMER SCOTTISH GUI LDSWOM AN. We often say that guild training fits a woman to take any public position wherever she may be. Here is another' little proof of that claim — Mrs C. Stewart, the only woman member of the New Zealand House of Representatives, was trainee in the Possilpark Guild branch, Glasgow. in fact she was a foundation member of that guild and so was an experienced worker when she arrived in New Zealand. —“Woman’s Outlook.”
