WOMEN'S POSITION
IN THE NAZI STATE. Hitler himself defined women’s position in the Nazi State at the Nurnburg Nazi Party Congress in September, 1934. Speaking to the mass meeting of German women, he said: “The world of man is the State, the
world of man is his struggle, his selfdedication to the community, and thus we may say that the world o_ woman is a smaller one. For her world is her husband, her family, her children and her house ... We do not believe it to be right for woman to penetrate into the world of man, into his special sphere; on the contrary', we feel that it is natural for these worlds to remain separated.”
