Westland Organisation A meeting of the Westlanj Provincial Centennial Council was hold last evening, at the Greymouth Borough Council Chambers when there were present Messrs G. A. Peiiy (chairman), F. A. Kitchingham, J. Ryali, J. Mulcare, J. Murdoch, l Unwin, W. B. Gilbert, H. Herring, W. Clayton, P. J. McLean and D. J. Evans (secretary). Apologies for their absence were received from Messrs a. H. McKane, K. May (Ross), and Dr. W. McKay. The Centennial Branch, Wellington, wrote supplying particulars of uniforms, bunting etc, for celebrations. The Centennial Branch also wrote asking to be advised of the names o’ auditors of Centennial accounts in the several districts. The secataiy was requested to supply the necessary information.

Darracott, Kotuku, headmaster of the Kotuku School wrote regarding a visit to the school in or-der-to arrange about an exhibit. It was decided that the visit be made, Mr W. A. Service, Canerbury Education Board, write agreeing to act in conjunction with the scholarship committee. Mr W. A. Service, Canterbury, Eduaccepting the position of judge along with Dr. W. McKay, for the photographic competition. The secretary said there were 51 entries in the photographic competition, which would be judged almost immediately. Mr P. J.
