LAKE BRUNNER RESULTS. Rowing events were held at Moana oyer the week-end in fine but windy weather, with considerable swell. Results:—? Challenge race between L. Rankin and R.'Hocking, resulted in a win for the former. ,Boys’ Race, first heat: W. Philhnson 1, H. Birchfield 2, B. Dense 3. Second* heat: J- Dense 1, D. Klempel 2, K. Klempel 3. Final: H. Birchfield 1, J. Dense 2, D. Klempel 3. , Men’s Race, final Club trophy: C. Kennedy 1, F. Klempel 2, E. Hocking 3. E.; Hocking won the race on points.; Ladies’ Rowing Race: Mrs. Bryant 1, Mrs; Klempel 2, Mrs. Phillipson 3. Also started: Misses Dunne, M Dense, E. Dense, Mrs. R. Birchfield. Miss B. Birchf}eld< Novice Race: B. Williams 1, M. Malloy 2, W. Sullivan 3. Also started: B. Birchfield, F. Lemon, L. Irwin. Men’s Race:-T. Hibbs 1, E. Hocking 2, B. Dbwne and L.
