Trotting Notes D. A. Withers’ Team: The local trainer, D. A. Withers, has five pacers in his team, and four of them are likely to be seen in action over the Christmas circuit. Rewai and Peggy Petrova will have their first outings at Hokitika on December 28, whilst Big Nelson will be produced at the Greymouth T.C. Meeting in January. A newcomer to the stable is a four-year-old unraced mare by Man o’ War out of a Logan Pointer mare, who is owned by a West Coast sportsman, and gives promise of developing into a useful sort.
