With a .22 calibre rifle beside her and a bullet wound ip her chest, Mrs Alice Bertha Andrews wss found by her husband outside their farmhouse at Meremere yesterday afternoon. She vvas sent to hospital, where her death occurred last evening. It is understood that she made a statement that she intended to shoo, tbirds,’ and accidentally shot herself.
