ADAMS BEATS JARVIS. CHRISTCHURCH, April 28. In a fast, clean bout of twelve rounds, Les Adams, of Ashburton (10.4) beat Jack -Jarvis, of Eltham (9.7) the New Zealand light weight champion, on points, at Ashburton tonight.
