Isabel Derby: A lease held over Isabel Derby ox pires shortly, and she will probably return to J. J. Kennerley’s stable. Aide-de-Camp: Aide-de-Camp has fallen out of favour, and it is stated that the Adioo Guy gelding has temporarily become a bit tired of racing. Pilot Peter: Pilot Peter is regarded as one of the fastest trotters in commission Patiently handled and well-balanced, it would take a good one to beat him. A Run of Three:

Horse Power’s win in the- Great Northern Derby marked a run ol three consecutive wins for R. R Berry, as his previous winners were Valdor and Parisienne. Wah:

The Peterwah gelding Wah, who won from a 144 yards mark at Auckland, was foaled in 1925. His dam, Amy Dillon, was got by Harold Dillon from Espanita, by Wildwood. Wah again won attractively on the second day.

Wananga In: Wananga was omitted from the official list of acceptors from the Uawa Stakes and Farewell Handicap at the Tolaga Bay races to-day. Extremes:

Ajax: Ajax is considered unlikely to face Hua, Avenger, and Damalis in the St. Legers at Flemington and Randwick, He will probably do his racing in shorter events. Fourth Success:

Paper Slipper’s win in the James Hazlett Gold Cup at Dunedin marked the fourth success by the Clifford colours in the race. The previous winners were Winning Hit, Cricket Bat, and Wild Chase.

Gayest Son: Gay Son’s yearling brother has had the "name Gayest Son claimed for him. He also will be raced by his breeder, Mr A. F. Symes.

Moneyless: Moneyless tailed the field at Tapanui and was apparently right out of racing shape. He will have to make a most marked improvement to hold a chance of success at the Gore meeting. Wairoa Maiden Winners:

Oha and Poverty Bay, winners of the maiden races at the Wairoa meeting, are both daughters of Cockpit. Oha is a half-sister to the useful gallopers Gaze and Topere, and is now raced by Mrs W. R. Gillies, Waimarama, and trained by E. A. Jones at Hastings. Poverty Bay, who is owned by Miss G. Twist, whose horses are trained by G. C. Swinerd at Greenmeadows, is a half-sister to Lucullus Boy and Reasonable. She was having her first racing at the meeting, and ran second to Oha on the first day. ___________
