The Mines Department announces that the following certificates have been awarded following on the 193" examination of' candidates under the Mining Act, 1926, and the Coal Mines Act, 1925:— ’ MINING ACT. Mitchell (Barrytown), W. H. McAlpine (Mawheraiti), A. J. Caithness (Maori Gully, Kokiri), C. E. Gollop (Kokiri), J. A. Lynch (Dunedin). COAL MINES ACT. . First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate. —J. Adamson (Runanga). Second Class Mine Manager’s Certificate. —J. J. Quinn (Burnett’s Face). PARTIAL PASSES. In addition, the following partial passes for certificates were granted: Mining Act.
